Handcrafted Wood Holiday Nut Bowls ~ by VanEss Expressions


VanEss Expressions offers a variety of individually handmade solid hard-wood Nut Bowls. These classic wood nut bowls are wonderful for holiday (or anytime) entertaining and are perfect holiday gifts. We include a nut cracker & 2 picks with each nut bowl - so all you have to do is add the nuts.

Our standard woods are Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry and Walnut. The wood bowls run between 8" and 10" across and are 2½" - 3½" high. Some are glued up with the grain running in the same direction, others run perpendicular (which gives an interesting visual effect). The stem/holder rises out of a center pedestal 4½" - 6½" and are of different shapes, some with thru-holes for people with a weaker grip. This center pedestal conveniently holds the nutcracker and picks. (We also apply a felt protective pad on the bottom of all wood nut bowls we make.)
